Über diese Stufe
Geisterwürfel im Würfel – mehr ist über diese aufrecht stehende Thumbnail-Stufe aus Yaogangxian kaum zu sagen. Der violette Fluorit ist als eng verwachsene Durchdringungsgruppe gewachsen, und jeder Kristall trägt Phantome: quadratische Umrisse früheren Wachstums, im Glas schwebend, nach innen gestuft wie Terrassen. Die Farbe geht von blassem Flieder an der Basis in ein dichtes Traubenviolett oben rechts über, während sich eine zentrale Fläche als schieferblaues Fenster auftut.
Phantome entstehen, wenn das Wachstum lange genug pausiert, dass sich ein Film aus Fremdstoffen auf den Kristallflächen absetzt; setzt das Wachstum wieder ein, wird diese Oberfläche im Inneren eingeschlossen. Fluorit hält die Unterbrechung ungewöhnlich deutlich fest, weil das Phantom die flächige Geometrie seines Wirtskristalls bewahrt. Fluorit ist CaF2, Mohs 4, mit vollkommener oktaedrischer Spaltbarkeit – bewahren Sie ihn getrennt von härteren Stücken auf.
Die Stufe misst 5,8 × 3,6 × 2,0 cm und wiegt 50 g; sie wird von ablösbarer Klebeknete auf dem klaren Acrylblock der Fotos gehalten. Dieser Block gehört zum Lieferumfang, und der abgebildete Stein ist der versandte Stein.
