Sobre este espécimen
Sichuan garden quartz with epidote at 22 g; a miniature with two clean crystals. Two clear quartz points, one tall and one short, rise from a small base of white druse with a dark green epidote cluster at the right.
Garden quartz (lodolite) carries inclusions of chlorite and iron minerals that build miniature landscapes inside the crystal.
Epidote's deep pistachio to olive green and striated prism faces separate it from prehnite.
Sichuan's alpine-type veins and skarns yield aquamarine, prehnite, epidote and scheelite of international quality.
Dimensions place it in the miniature range, 3.6 × 3.2 × 2 cm (1.42 × 1.26 × 0.79 in) and 22 g (0.8 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
