Las placas de carbonato rosa pálido proyectan en varias direcciones alrededor de un núcleo de pirita oscura y cuarzo. Algunas caras rosadas más amplias se colocan erguidas, mientras que las más pequeñas se extienden a lo largo de los lados entre finos cristales pálidos. La fuente utiliza nombres de dolomita y magnesita juntos sin establecer qué carbonato está presente. Los dos ángulos muestran la disposición abierta entre las placas de proyección y la textura central más oscura, preservando esa incertidumbre mientras se muestra la forma de capas distintiva del espécimen.
