Sobre este espécimen

Guangxi two-tone pyromorphite at 6.3 cm and 107 g; a small cabinet piece. Contains lead: wash hands after handling. A block of dark limonite with pyromorphite in two colours, pale mint-green prisms on the left and yellow crystals on the right, the two-tone the supplier names.

Pyromorphite is lead chlorophosphate, forming barrel-shaped hexagonal prisms in green to yellow-green; the Guangxi and Yunnan material is world class.

Guangxi's Daoping and Yangshuo districts produce the green pyromorphite, plumbogummite and calcite that made the province famous among collectors.

Dimensions place it in the small cabinet range, 6.3 × 4.3 × 2.5 cm (2.48 × 1.69 × 0.98 in) and 107 g (3.8 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.

Contains lead-bearing minerals: wash hands after handling and keep away from children and pets.

Specimens are photographed and catalogued one at a time before they reach this page.
