この標本について
Guizhou white flower calcite at 10 cm and 244 g; a cabinet piece. A rounded dome covered in white calcite in small pointed crystals grouped like flowers, the small-flower calcite the supplier names, with a dark grey base showing beneath.
Collectors chase calcite for form rather than colour: crisp crystal edges and a habit you can identify from across the room.
Guizhou is the source of the collector creedite and hosts important fluorite, calcite and copper-mineral localities around Qinglong.
The piece is cabinet in size, 10 × 7.5 × 5 cm (3.94 × 2.95 × 1.97 in) and 244 g (8.6 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Carbonate: never clean with acid or vinegar.
