Over dit exemplaar
Fujian flower calcite with quartz at 26 g; a small cabinet piece with a delicate upright form.
Collectors chase calcite for form rather than colour: crisp crystal edges and a habit you can identify from across the room.
Good quartz is about hexagonal prisms with clean terminations and the glassy lustre that lets a cluster catch light from every angle.
Fujian's fluorite-quartz veins have supplied collectors for two decades; the province is the source of most of the green and purple Chinese fluorite on the market.
Dimensions place it in the small cabinet range, 5.3 × 2.7 × 2 cm (2.09 × 1.06 × 0.79 in) and 26 g (0.9 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Carbonate: never clean with acid or vinegar.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
