方解石（CaCO3）莫氏硬度 3，沿三組完全解理方向裂開；摔落的晶體與其說是崩缺，不如說是散成一顆顆菱面體，因此這是一件該托著深色基座提取的標本。品項記載伴生重晶石；鏡頭清楚落定的則是方解石，晶面亮到足以把高光擲回鏡頭。醋與家用酸類一接觸就會蝕刻碳酸鹽——兩者都請遠遠避開。
