Daye — the Tonglushan skarn's collector calcite
The Daye mining district around Huangshi, Hubei Province, sits on one of China's oldest mined ore fields — the Tonglushan copper-iron skarn, worked since the Bronze Age. For collectors, modern Daye is best known for its remarkably varied calcite.
