Long dark blades lie almost horizontally across the top of a porous ochre-brown matrix. Several overlap, with their flat faces producing strong silver-white reflections and narrow dark green areas visible between them. The matrix below has a pitted, honeycomb-like texture.
The main visual division is between a relatively thin upper crystal layer and a deeper, rougher base. Most blades extend in a similar general direction, though their ends are staggered.
Locality: Brazil. Weight: 45 g (1.59 oz). Dimensions: 5 × 2 × 5.5 cm (50 × 20 × 55 mm; 1.97 × 0.79 × 2.17 in).
