這種形態僅見於澳洲少數幾處產出，藍銅礦在那裡於黏土層之間扁平的空腔中結晶；沒有任何其他地方能讓這種礦物把它的藍呈現得如此圖像化。收藏家把優質的多太陽標本板視為代表性藏品，而這樣的對比無需燈光就足以動人。
