關於此標本
一顆無色的螢石立方體，核心呈乳白，稜邊處轉為清透，後方階梯般疊入第二顆較小的立方體——這件瑤崗仙微型標本的全部就是如此，而這已經足夠。舉向光源，晶體內部交出一片針尖般飄散的包裹體，以及一塊淡淡如瘀痕的紫色，右側稜角還附著一小簇白色細晶。
無色螢石並不是這座礦山出名的東西，這反而讓它成為多數藏家早已擁有的瑤崗仙綠色與紫色標本旁一位安靜而有趣的架上鄰居。立方體的輪廓直接來自 CaF2 的等軸結構；那塊紫斑則是一個始終沒有擴散到晶體其餘部分的色心。
小巧緊湊，2.8 × 1.5 × 1.8 cm，14 g，以白色黏土固定於透明壓克力方塊上。您看到的就是這顆立方體本身，並依此原樣送達。
