這裡的螢石幾乎沒有什麼顏色——淡淡的綠灰色，水一般清透，與其說是寶石，不如說是一扇窗——它以立方體階梯的形式生長，每一面都相對前一面平行錯開，形成扁平的梯級。晶體與岩石相接之處，深綠色的綠泥石被包裹在晶體內部，並撒落在下方的母岩上；右側邊緣則坐落著一小簇乳粉色的碳酸鹽晶體。
綠泥石正是瑤崗仙的標誌：這座礦山產出的螢石經常與這種綠色的雲母狀礦物一同生長，它覆蓋母岩，也飄入晶體之中，化為柔和的內部雲霧。螢石的化學式為 CaF2，莫氏硬度 4，沿八面體方向具完全解理，因此這類標本上稜角分明的立方體邊角，正是粗心的層架最先奪走的部分。
結構緊湊，5.6 × 3.8 × 4.3 cm，74 g，直立展示於透明壓克力座上，讓立方體正好停在視線的高度。照片拍攝的正是這一叢晶簇。
