一團 1.4 公斤重的海綠色螢石立方體，彼此交錯、玻璃光澤，來自湖南郴州的瑤崗仙礦。它的顏色落在綠與藍之間那一段少見的色帶——是潟湖的水色，而非薄荷綠——並在晶簇的核心處加深，那裡有數代立方體彼此穿生。每一個晶面都因階梯狀的生長台階而活躍，細密的直角小階讓表面在光下泛起漣漪。
瑤崗仙的名聲建立在紫色之上；它的藍綠色晶洞一向是較稀少的收穫，而這一色系的大型透明晶簇，如今更是難以替代。這件標本在陳列櫃的尺度上匯集了三件要緊的事：飽和的顏色、可以望進數公分深的玻璃般清澈區域，以及一整面完整無損的晶體疊晶體展示面。
