瑤崗仙最為人熟知的是飽和的紫色；這件標本是同一產地較安靜的一面，而這份克制正適合它。一顆立方體、一片母岩薄板、一處石英點綴——構圖平衡得像刻意的安排，卻完全出自大自然之手。
尺寸為 6.6 × 6.1 × 4.6 cm，重 91 g，以圖中所示的底座陳列。產自湖南郴州瑤崗仙礦。照片所示即為實物標本。
