About this specimen
A single large fluorite cube in deep violet-blue with darker phantom zones inside and pale, stepped edges, sitting on a small base of white quartz at the lower left. The cube faces are satin rather than glassy.
Inner Mongolia blue-purple fluorite as a one-cube specimen; the phantoms show when a lamp is held behind it. A 51 g miniature.
