- Returns — We offer a 14-day return window if an item is not as described. Please contact us before returning any specimen.
- Liability — My Mineral Box is not liable for indirect damages resulting from use. We are not responsible for delays caused by third‑party carriers.
- Updates — We may update these terms to reflect legal or operational changes. The latest version will always be posted here.
Gift cards & payment plans: gift cards never expire, are not redeemable for cash (except where required by law) and are non-refundable once delivered; purchases made with a gift card follow the standard return policy. Payment-plan reservations require a 20% deposit with the balance due within 30 days; full terms are on the Payment Plan page.
Lawful sourcing & imports: all specimens are, to the best of our knowledge, lawfully acquired and lawfully exported from their country of origin; we do not sell material subject to national patrimony or export restrictions. Minerals and the fossils we offer are not regulated by CITES. You are responsible for ensuring an item may lawfully be imported into your country and for any import duties, taxes or fees not covered under our shipping policy; we may cancel and refund any order we cannot ship lawfully.
Statutory consumer rights: nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right that applies under the law of your country of residence (including the Australian Consumer Law and EU/UK consumer law); where our policy and a non-waivable local right differ, the local right prevails.

3 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Any disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith communication with our team shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Nothing in this clause limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your home jurisdiction.
