About this specimen

Water-clear cubes climb the upper ridge of this Xianghualing plate in a stepped, overlapping ramp, dozens of them, most no more than a centimetre across. Several carry a warm amber zone through the middle, colour banding laid down as the crystal grew, so the group reads glass-clear along the top and honey-toned deeper in. Below the crystals the matrix falls away into dark grey rock frosted with white druse.

Xianghualing in Hunan is tin and tungsten country, and its fluorite tends towards this glassy, low-colour habit with crisp cube edges rather than the saturated purples the province is better known for. Fluorite (CaF2) cleaves perfectly along four octahedral directions, which is why a knock on an edge pops a triangular chip out of a cube like these — carry the specimen by its matrix, not by the crystals.

The piece measures 7.6 × 3.8 × 5.1 cm and weighs 95 g, with a solid matrix back behind the crystal face. No stand is supplied; the photographs record this individual plate.

Yes — specimens like this form naturally. As is standard in the trade, some pieces are gently cleaned or trimmed; we photograph the actual specimen and describe its origin and condition conservatively.

How is it packed and shipped?

Orders ship worldwide with fully insured, tracked delivery, carefully packed to protect fragile crystals. A display base is included.

Can I return it?

Yes — there is a 14-day return window.
