A flat plate with a radiating, star-shaped growth of golden-brown marcasite spreading across it like frost on a window, over pale calcite. The marcasite has a mirror-like sheen that stands out.
Guizhou mirror marcasite on calcite at 465 g; a small cabinet piece with a striking radial pattern. Keep dry: marcasite can decompose in humid storage.
Size 5 × 9.4 × 7 cm / 1.97 × 3.70 × 2.76 in; weight 465 g / 16.4 oz. Cabinet specimen, makes a strong centrepiece on a shelf or in a display case. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
