橄欖綠色的粉末沉積在這件瑤崗仙小晶簇的每一道內凹夾角裡，勾勒出一排排淺紫丁香色的立方體，它們彼此錯落堆疊，側看就像一道階梯。每顆立方體都有更深的紫羅蘭色核心，在頂端最大的那顆晶體上最為銳利。兩支無色的石英晶尖高出脊線，前緣還散布著細小的石英針晶，一路接住光線。
這層綠色薄膜是在立方體長成之後才附著到螢石上的，而它在這裡確實有作用：少了它，淺色晶體彼此之間的稜邊就會糊掉，整叢會被看成一團柔軟的塊體。它同時也決定了清潔的方式——不能用超音波清洗，也不能用硬毛刷，因為這類覆膜掉得容易、回不去。底下的螢石莫氏硬度 4，沿八面體方向乾淨解理。
晶簇尺寸 4.6 × 3.6 × 3.3 cm，重 60 g。這就是照片裡的那顆晶體本身，而非替代品，以黑底手持拍攝，售出時不附底座。
