A heavy block of brass-gold pyrite with broad, striated faces in a cracked turtle-shell pattern, a smaller grey galena patch at the top right and white quartz along the edges. The lustre is bright and the block is dense.
Hunan turtle-pattern pyrite with galena at 562 g; a small cabinet piece with unusual surface texture. Lead sulfide present.
Weight 562 g / 19.8 oz. Cabinet specimen, makes a strong centrepiece on a shelf or in a display case. Sold as photographed, with any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note disclosed in this listing; colour is as true to hand as the photos allow.
