晶面上柔和的蝕刻，是四川平武上方高海拔裂隙晶洞的典型特徵：晚期熱液把晶體的外皮磨圓，卻沒有削鈍它雙錐狀的幾何輪廓。結果可以兩種方式閱讀——伸臂之遙看是俐落的剪影，湊近看則是緞面般的光暈。深色片狀白雲母也絕非可有可無，它為琥珀色晶體作框，並提供了這組經典雪寶頂共生組合最受喜愛的對比。
