A mound of grey quartz druse and small white calcite crystals sprinkled with red-brown gem sphalerite crystals, the sphalerite densest along the lower right. The sphalerite glows red in transmitted light. Fluoresces under a UV torch, as the photos show.
Hunan gem sphalerite with calcite and quartz at 199 g; a small cabinet piece where the colour comes from the sulfide.
