關於此標本
兩顆方解石在此以銳角相接，一顆直立，是淡玫瑰色的透明晶體，另一顆則橫向甩出，成為一片扁平的楔子。那片楔子裡漂浮著一縷橄欖綠的羽狀物，邊緣如羽毛般散開，與晶壁接觸之處染上鏽橙色，穿過方解石便能一覽無遺，彷彿被夾在兩片玻璃之間。兩者都自一塊磚橙色結殼的凸起上升起，結殼表面覆著細小的微晶。
包裹體自己敲定了先後順序：方解石開始生長時，那團綠色物質已經坐在晶洞裡，晶體便繞著它閉合，把一種礦物的羽毛封進了另一種礦物之中。這一切都未經加工——雙晶的晶面與那片楔子都是天然生長。方解石很軟，莫氏硬度 3，具三組完美解理，因此如此乾淨的包裹體晶體，比看上去更為難得。
小而輕：3.6 × 1.5 × 2.8 cm，10 g，以黏土固定在圖中的透明壓克力底座上，底座隨件附上。這些照片裡的晶體就是寄出的晶體。
