A long slab entirely covered in tiny, glittering red-brown vanadinite crystals, so fine and dense that the texture is caviar; a few white aragonite specks sit on the surface. The red deepens toward the centre.
Moroccan micro-vanadinite in this all-over druse form is a display slab rather than a crystal specimen, and at 15 cm and 900 g it covers a lot of shelf. It is a lead vanadate mineral.
At 914 g (32.2 oz) it is a large cabinet specimen that is a statement piece for a display case or mantel. Sold as photographed, with any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note disclosed in this listing; colour is as true to hand as the photos allow.
