Honiggoldene Würfel steigen aus dieser Platte aus Anhui auf wie Bernsteintropfen, die in Stein gefasst wurden: ein beherrschender Kristall nahe der Mitte mit warmem Karamellkern, an seiner Flanke ein kleinerer, edelsteinheller Würfel, dazwischen eine Streuung winziger goldener Würfel über der hellen, zuckerartig strukturierten Quarz-Matrix.
Goldgelber Fluorit aus Anhui ist Altmaterial: Die Fundstelle, die ihn geliefert hat, ist geschlossen, und was heute im Umlauf ist, stammt aus Sammlungen, die vor Jahren zusammengetragen wurden. Der Reiz liegt in der Farbe – einem echten warmen Gelb ohne den grünlichen Stich, der bei gelbem Fluorit so häufig auftritt –, und die tiefere Karamellzonierung des großen Kristalls gibt ihm unter warmem Licht ein inneres Leuchten.
Die Platte misst 10,7 × 9,9 × 5,6 cm und wiegt 520 g – ein breites, standfestes Kabinettstück, das von selbst im Präsentationswinkel liegt. Die Fotos zeigen genau das angebotene Exemplar.
