Cristales largos, casi incoloros de calcita cruzan por encima de una pequeña base pálida. Un amplio cristal proyecta a la izquierda, equilibrado por puntos verticales más cortos en el lado opuesto. El cuarzo y la fluorita se registran en la asociación. La fotografía de luz ordinaria hace que las bandas internas y los bordes claros sean más fáciles de distinguir, mientras que la vista ultravioleta da a los cristales una fuerte apariencia rosa.
