Un pequeño cristal rosado turmalino de Afganistán muestra un prisma de lila-rosa esbelta con finas estrías verticales. El cristal translúcido se profundiza ligeramente hacia un extremo y captura destellos pálidos a lo largo de sus caras estrechas bajo luz cercana. Se fotografia junto a una herramienta clara y en una caja mineral blanca para hacer visible la escala en miniatura. Dos macro vistas revelan la delicada zonificación de color, el contorno prismático y la terminación natural de la aproximadamente12Cristal mm.
