À propos de ce spécimen
Hebei transparent green fluorite at 10.5 cm and 532 g; a cabinet piece with gem-clear cubes.
Fluorite is the classic collector's halide: calcium fluoride that grows as cubes, octahedra and stepped combinations, often with colour zoning that shows best in daylight.
Hebei's mountain districts produce calcite, quartz and skarn minerals from small mines north of Beijing.
Dimensions place it in the cabinet range, 10.5 × 9 × 5.5 cm (4.13 × 3.54 × 2.17 in) and 532 g (18.8 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Specimens are photographed and catalogued one at a time before they reach this page.
