Two clear, sharp quartz points rise at an angle from a base of dark, blackish-green epidote blades, with a dusting of fine green epidote across the quartz faces. Tiny but well formed.
A 9 g Sichuan epidote-quartz thumbnail with clean terminations; the dark epidote base gives the clear quartz something to stand against.
It measures 3.3 × 2.3 × 1.8 cm (1.30 × 0.91 × 0.71 in) and weighs 9 g (0.3 oz), a miniature-sized piece that fits a miniature cabinet or a desk display.
