A complete-all-round floater of pale pink manganoan dolomite (kutnohorite) in curved, pearly rhombs, with a cluster of brassy pyrite crystals at the upper right and a little tan staining. Fluoresces under a UV torch, as the photos show.
Peruvian kutnohorite with pyrite at 157 g; a small cabinet piece with a gentle pink that is rare in the dolomite group.
At 8 × 7.2 × 3.6 cm (3.15 × 2.83 × 1.42 in) and 157 g (5.5 oz) it is a cabinet specimen that makes a strong centrepiece on a shelf or in a display case. Sold as photographed, with any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note disclosed in this listing; colour is as true to hand as the photos allow.
