Les lames roses plus petites s'étendent sur un côté, tandis que le quartz clair à blanc recouvre le bord opposé. Une zone sombre et métallique interrompt la surface cristalline pâle sous le groupe rose principal. Sous le second angle, la rhodochrosite apparaît plus fortement relevée, montrant sa position en couches au-dessus des minéraux environnants et la profondeur derrière le plus grand cristal orienté vers l'avant.
