Les bords pointus et la croissance secondaire divisent les faces principales en plans réfléchissants plus petits, produisant des flashs de couleur au fur et à mesure que l'angle change. Les cristaux à grains fins pâles recouvrent des parties de la matrice autour du fluorite. La vue inverse révèle des formes octaédriques supplémentaires et la profondeur en couches du spécimen, avec le pourpre saturé concentré à travers le centre.
