Gongcheng, Guangxi, botryoidal pyromorphite at 8 cm and 138 g; a cabinet plate. Contains lead: wash hands after handling.
Pyromorphite is lead chlorophosphate, forming barrel-shaped hexagonal prisms in green to yellow-green; the Guangxi and Yunnan material is world class.
Guangxi's Daoping and Yangshuo districts produce the green pyromorphite, plumbogummite and calcite that made the province famous among collectors.
By size it is cabinet, 8 × 6 × 2.5 cm (3.15 × 2.36 × 0.98 in) and 138 g (4.9 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Contains lead-bearing minerals: wash hands after handling and keep away from children and pets.
