À propos de ce spécimen
A flat lavender fluorite plate whose surface is covered in hundreds of tiny purple triangular growth patterns, so the whole face looks like a printed textile. The pattern is known as triangle database fluorite. The plate stands on edge.
Yunnan fluorite with this triangular etch pattern is a novelty form and a good example of how growth zoning shows on an octahedral face; thumbnail-to-miniature size.
