À propos de ce spécimen
Inner Mongolia quartz cluster at 12.5 cm; a display piece with a shape that needs no explanation.
Rock crystal is judged on termination quality, clarity and how the crystals sit together, and the Chinese localities have raised the bar on all three.
Inner Mongolia's Huanggang and Chifeng districts produce fluorite, calcite, garnet and rhodochrosite in a lustre and clarity that set the modern standard for Chinese carbonates.
By size it is large cabinet, 12.5 × 12 × 6.6 cm (4.92 × 4.72 × 2.60 in) and 927 g (32.7 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
