À propos de ce spécimen
Henan strawberry fluorite at 7 cm and 110 g; a small cabinet piece with a rare botryoidal habit.
Fluorite crystallises in the cubic system and is prized for its saturated colour, glassy lustre and the way zoned phantoms appear when the crystals are back-lit.
Henan's Luoning and Songxian districts are the source of Chinese wulfenite, mimetite, pyromorphite and vanadinite.
Dimensions place it in the small cabinet range, 7 × 5.6 × 2.5 cm (2.76 × 2.20 × 0.98 in) and 110 g (3.9 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
