Henan strawberry fluorite at 6 cm and 134 g; a small cabinet piece with a rare botryoidal habit.
Fluorite is the classic collector's halide: calcium fluoride that grows as cubes, octahedra and stepped combinations, often with colour zoning that shows best in daylight.
Henan's Luoning and Songxian districts are the source of Chinese wulfenite, mimetite, pyromorphite and vanadinite.
By size it is small cabinet, 6 × 5.2 × 2.8 cm (2.36 × 2.05 × 1.10 in) and 134 g (4.7 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
