Zhejiang two-tone octahedral fluorite at 20 × 9 × 25 cm and 2940 g including the stand; a large cabinet display piece.
Fluorite is the classic collector's halide: calcium fluoride that grows as cubes, octahedra and stepped combinations, often with colour zoning that shows best in daylight.
Zhejiang's Jiangshan and Qingtian districts are known for babingtonite, prehnite, fluorite and quartz from volcanic-hosted veins.
The piece is large cabinet in size, 20 × 9 × 25 cm (7.87 × 3.54 × 9.84 in) and 2940 g (103.7 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
