À propos de ce spécimen
Yunnan quartz at 3.8 cm and 20.5 g; a miniature. A rounded, water-worn quartz with six flat window faces and a white cap, the six-window water-tumbled Shanling quartz the supplier names, with golden staining inside.
Double-terminated quartz grew free of the wall, so both ends carry natural terminations.
Yunnan is China's most mineralogically diverse province, source of the pyromorphite, azurite and blue aragonite that have become collector favourites.
The piece is miniature in size, 2 × 2.1 × 3.8 cm (0.79 × 0.83 × 1.50 in) and 20.5 g (0.7 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
