Dettagli dell’esemplare
Su questo esemplare
A rounded malachite rosette in banded green sits at the centre of the piece with a single deep-blue azurite crystal on its shoulder, all set on frosty white calcite crusts over a dark, drusy base. Please note chrysocolla in the mix as a third copper mineral.
A classic Moroccan copper-oxidation thumbnail: three copper minerals and calcite in one small piece, with the colours cleanly separated.
At 3.2 × 2.4 × 1.7 cm (1.26 × 0.94 × 0.67 in) and 21 g (0.7 oz) it is a miniature specimen that fits a miniature cabinet or a desk display. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
Copper mineral: avoid dust, wash hands after handling. Carbonate: never clean with acid or vinegar.
