Diverse piccole sfere verdi di malachite punteggiano una vasta matrice grigio-marrone. La crescita arrotondata è sparsa piuttosto che continua, lasciando molta della superficie di supporto più scura visibile tra le macchie verdi più luminose. Nella vista più ravvicinata appare una sottile texture radiale sulle sfere più grandi. Una fotografia angolata rivela un lato spesso e irregolare sotto la faccia larga e una banda pallida vicino ad un bordo, dando alla crescita verde scarsa uno sfondo stratificato e terroso su questo esemplare di Guizhou.
