A block completely coated in electric-blue, velvety azurite, with tiny dark specks in the crust and a brown base showing at the bottom; the fluorite beneath is hidden by the blue. It is described as rare azurite-covered fluorite.
Yunnan azurite over fluorite at 118 g; an unusual pairing where the copper carbonate has taken over the whole surface. Avoid dust; wash hands after handling.
At 7.3 × 5.4 × 3.2 cm (2.87 × 2.13 × 1.26 in) and 118 g (4.2 oz) it is a small cabinet specimen that displays well on a shelf or in a cabinet. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
