この標本について
藍銅鉱だけが届く深みの、鮮烈な青。このモロッコ産のミニチュアでは板状に伸びた二つの結晶が主役を張り、石を回すたびにガラス質の面がサファイア色とウルトラマリンを閃かせます。その脇には絹のような繊維状の孔雀石が帯をなして走ります——化学の理屈どおりの場所に育った、藍銅鉱の緑の分身です。土台はチョコレート色の鉄帽の母岩です。
青と緑の取り合わせは銅の鉱物ならではの二重奏で、モロッコのポケットはそれを、古典的な産地に引けを取らない結晶の質で見せてくれます。この一石では藍銅鉱が鋭い稜と強い光沢を保ち、孔雀石はビロードのように見える質感を添えています。
4.9 × 3.1 × 3.8 cm、100 g とコンパクトで、ミニチュアの棚では最前列に置きたくなる一品です。天然無処理。写真はお届けする標本そのものです。
