一束重達 1.45 公斤的草金色方解石，產自湖北黃石的大冶礦——粗壯、玻璃質的晶體肩並肩地層疊在一起，纖薄的白色方解石片狀晶體從中切入，底下則是閃亮的灰綠色硫化物母岩。顏色介於蜂蜜色與橄欖色之間，在白熾燈下明顯轉暖。
大冶的矽卡岩晶洞產出的方解石有著不尋常的體量與光澤，而該礦種完美的解理，使得這種重量級、多晶體且毫髮無傷的晶簇堪稱包裝上的奇蹟——這一件完整無損地抵達，並且從任何一面都可陳列。
