About this specimen
A long, curved plate of sharp, cream-coloured calcite crystals, known as pointed-tooth form, with one tall triangular blade standing at the left and small pale fluorite octahedra and quartz at the base. Fluoresces under a UV torch, as the photos show.
Fujian pointed calcite with octahedral fluorite at 17 cm and 800 g; a display piece with hundreds of intact tips.
