A rounded plate carpeted in fibrous, velvet-green malachite needles, with one knot of pale blue azurite-and-aragonite at the centre and brown baryte blades showing at the edges. The green is bright and the texture is soft to the eye.
Moroccan copper-oxidation material with four species on one hand-sized piece; the malachite velvet is fragile, so keep it dust-free with a blower.
At 160 g (5.6 oz) it is a cabinet specimen that makes a strong centrepiece on a shelf or in a display case. Sold exactly as photographed; any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note is disclosed in this listing.
