Clusters of bright, almost fluorescent lime-green pyromorphite crystals grow in rosettes and flower-like tufts across a triangular grey matrix, with the freshest green concentrated along the upper edge. The crystals are barrel-shaped and stacked, catching light on their resinous faces.
Guangxi's Daoping district is the best-known source of green pyromorphite, and this piece has the youthful lime tone collectors look for. It is a lead phosphate mineral.
At 105 g (3.7 oz) it is a cabinet specimen that makes a strong centrepiece on a shelf or in a display case. Sold exactly as photographed; any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note is disclosed in this listing.
