紅色是螢石所能達到的最稀有顏色之一，而這些內蒙古晶洞把它以自行站立、晶面完整的天然生長晶體形式呈現出來——不是市面上常見的解理八面體。這次發現時間短暫，材料已經停止出土，也讓這類標本逐步進入藏家之間轉手的範疇。
