關於此標本
一塊淡青瓷綠的螢石晶塊，在頂緣承載著一層起伏的鼠尾草綠白雲石被膜：綠冰之上覆著一堤青苔。這顆立方體是半透明而非寶石級透明，內部滿是柔軟的白色雲霧，左側晶面上有一級級淺淺的生長階地向上攀升，而在右側白雲石變薄之處，兩枚極小的無色立方體閃爍生輝。
白雲石，CaMg(CO3)2，在瑤崗仙的生成序列中登場較晚，沉降覆蓋在早已停止生長的螢石之上。由於它是披覆而非交代，像這樣的標本便保存下一份一眼可讀的層序——螢石在先，碳酸鹽在後。螢石莫氏硬度 4 且具八面體解理，使裸露的立方體稜角成為脆弱之處，因此移動時請自下方托住整件標本。
一件名副其實的小型標本，4.8 × 4.6 × 2.5 cm、45 g，圖中以黏土固定於透明壓克力座上。照片與標本完全一致：這就是那一件，並非替代品。
