Über diese Stufe
Hebei transparent purple-edged green fluorite at 5.2 cm and 29 g; a small cabinet piece with clean cubes.
Fluorite crystallises in the cubic system and is prized for its saturated colour, glassy lustre and the way zoned phantoms appear when the crystals are back-lit.
Hebei's mountain districts produce calcite, quartz and skarn minerals from small mines north of Beijing.
Dimensions place it in the small cabinet range, 5.2 × 4 × 1.8 cm (2.05 × 1.57 × 0.71 in) and 29 g (1.0 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
